Almost everything is on hold because cancer.

A journey that started during the pandemic with several “exciting” near-death experiences has sidelined me for ages. So this website is woefully out of date and will probably remain so for a while.

Fortunately some things ~ like what I intend to do with my one wild and precious life ~ remain constant.

I’m fortunate to finally be receiving treatment from the Inova Health System, and after this awkward side quest I will return to building The Southworth Project.

I’ve had several successful surgeries and rounds of intense, 6-hour/3-drug chemotherapy infusions. Now I’m on much easier 2-hour/1-drug chemo that will continue into 2027, which is… a lot. But I’m alive and my prognosis is good so yay.
